GOOD SPORTMANSHIP must be practiced by all racers.
ADULTS - NO smoking allowed INSIDE the building.
MINORS - NO SMOKING ALLOWED (by Arkansas Law).
NO RUNNING AROUND THE TRACK!

RACING RULES - NASCAR and NASTRK

30 Minutes of free time (for practice laps) before the scheduled races begin.
ANY and ALL lane colors (first come, first serve)
Don't hog any one lane color; give all racers a chance to practice on each lane color.

QUALIFYING - 2 warmup laps, any color lane
2 qualifing laps, same color lane
NOTE: Your FASTEST lap is your qualifying lap speed.

3 Minute heats ( Round Robin - 8 heats, total )

NOTE: * ROUND ROBIN RACING = Each driver (and their car/truck)
will race for a TIMED three minute period (or Heat);
rotating on each lane's color, on the track.
Each driver/car will race on all 8 lanes (or ALL 8 colors) during a Round Robin Race.

3 Minute INTERMISSIONS between each Round Robin heat.

During the Intermissions several things must happen:

* A new lane color will be announced for each racer.
* Racers must (without moving their cars position on the track) apply the new color sticker
and move their car to the new lane color.
* Racers must move their CONTROLLER to the new lane color at the DRIVER'S STATION.
* Minor maintenance of your car (or truck) is also allowed during the Intermission.
(Oiling of axles/motor and cleaning of tires ONLY)

Should a car/truck become damaged during the race:

A (limited) 3 minutes of repair time will be given to re-install a wheel, etc.
(The race is suspended during repair cycle)
The other racers may ONLY oil their cars or clean their tires .

Should a motor burn out during a race:

Motors should have been cleaned & lubricated PRIOR TO the race.
If it burns out during the race, you and your car are OUT of the race.
PLEASE NOTE: No refunds apply.

RACING NOTES or PENALITIES:

Excessively CRASHING your car or truck is NOT racing.
Excessively de-slotting your car or truck is NOT racing.
Until the field of racers become better racers:
For each de-slotting car
there will be imposed a 6-foot penalty, per infraction.
After 5 de-slottings the penalty will be TWO 6-foot lengths imposed, per infraction.

The RACE DIRECTORS may choose to impose or disavow any penalties.

VEHICLE RULES - NASCAR and NASTRK

TECH INSPECTIONS - will be held on each car/truck prior to
the start of each Round Robin. Your car/truck must pass
Tech Inspection to qualify to race.
ALL car are impounded after passing Tech Inspection.

STOCK BODIES - Racecar, Race & Truck only.
Must be painted, Interior optional
Total width = No wider than 3 1/4 inches.
Body Pins - MUST be taped.
Minimum 1/8 inch front bumper
No lower than 1 9/16 inch, at the roof
Spoilers - No taller than 3/8 inch from the rear
deck lid (chopped-top truck only)

MOTORS - Deathstar # 501 or Falcon motors.
NO modifications are allowed to either motor, MUST BE STOCK.

CHASSIS - Any STAMPED steel chassis.
Examples: Parma, Pro Slot, Champion or J.K.
Tape or Weights are allowed.

CHASSIS/TRACK CLEARANCES -
Each car/truck must have a minimum 1/16 inch clearance.

GUIDE FLAG - Only one guide flag per chassis.

GEARS - Any gear size (48 pitch only)

AXLES - only 1/8 inch SOLID rear axles.

TIRES - Any tires size, No wider than ( .800 )
Each car/truck must have all four wheels/tires.
